Low-Code Systems Administrator, Mid

The Opportunity:

Your combination of people skills and system administrator knowledge makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. What if you could use those skills to improve the technology supporting Department of Navy? We're looking for a system administrator to spe cia lize in RedHat Enterprise Linux, who can leverage expertise in Appian and Pega administration to help us build modernized applications hosted in a cloud environment to support important administrative and operational functions.

As a system administrator on our team, you'll work closely alongside other technical experts including developers and cloud engineers to ensure required infrastructure is available and functional while evaluating methods to introduce emergent technologies to improve overall efficiencies and effectiveness. You'll help clients overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your knowledge will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Your communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and articulate their meaning.

You Have:

+ 3+ years of experience with research, design, and development of computer and network sof tware

+ Knowledge of RHEL administration in a secure government cloud environment, including the use of Ansible Automation Platform and Satellite Server for infrastructure and configuration management

+ Knowledge of Ansible Playbooks, including supporting deployment and task automation

+ Ability to lead the sof tware implementation of smaller systems or sub-systems of complex systems

+ Ability to perform cybersecurity engineering activities on the platforms and infrastructure including vulnerability scans, system hardening, and test-fix-test activities

+ Top Secret clearance

+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Systems

+ IAT Level II certification, such as CompTIA Security+

+ Agile Developer certification or Certified Scrum Developer certification

Nice If You Have:

+ Experience with the administration of Appian and Pega no-code / low-code application development platforms

+ Experience with Appian, Pega, MarkLogic, or NiFi platforms to support deployment, operation, and maintenance routines

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
