OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (COTA)- Per Diem$21.00–$29.00/hr

What You’ll Do:
+ Work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide therapy interventions to residents as prescribed
+ Communicate progress or lack of progress to the supervising OT to update goals and plan of care as needed
+ Provide therapy sessions focused on:
+ Range of Motion (ROM) / Joint Mobility
+ Pain Management
+ Muscle Strength
+ Posture & Balance
+ Body Mechanics
+ Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
+ Coordination & Fine Motor Skills
+ Implementation of Home Exercise Programs
+ Accurately document sessions and resident progress in a timely manner according to state laws and facility policies

Qualifications
+ Licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) in New York State
+ Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred
+ Strong communication and collaboration skills
+ Commitment to resident-centered, compassionate care
