Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full Time, Day Shift$34.50 – $36.50/hr

As aSpeech Language Pathologist, you’ll provide essential speech and language therapy interventions, helping patients improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive function while supporting their recovery and quality of life.

What You’ll Do:
+ Perform comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations for speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication needs
+ Develop individualized treatment plans with short- and long-term goals
+ Provide therapy sessions focused on comprehension, expressive/written language, oral motor function, word retrieval, dysphagia, cognitive function, and home exercise programs
+ Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, patients, and families to align care goals
+ Accurately document care and maintain compliance with state regulations
+ Obtain and maintain certifications (e.g., vital stimulation) as needed
+ Guide appropriate discharge planning once goals are met or progress plateaus

Qualifications
+ Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
+ Current NYS License/Certification as a Speech Language Pathologist
+ Experience in long-term care, sub-acute rehab, or outpatient settings preferred
+ Strong knowledge of speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive therapies
+ Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
+ Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
+ Must be ASHA certified.
