    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Portfolio Analyst for a financial advisory client in Boca Raton. The Portfolio Analyst will support the investment team by helping manage and monitor client portfolios, analyzing financial data, and assisting with trading and reporting. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to learn and grow into more advanced investment responsibilities.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support the implementation, monitoring and oversight of systematic equity, multi-asset portfolios, SMAs, OCIO model portfolios and ETFs.

    • Assist with trade support, allocations, and portfolio reporting, performance attribution, risk monitoring, and factor/macro research.

    • Contribute to the development of capital market assumptions and strategic/tactical asset allocations.

    • Collaborate with operations, compliance, and technology teams to ensure smooth portfolio execution.

    • Assist in the preparation of materials for investment committee meetings, client presentations, and board reporting.

    • Help maintain investment models, databases, and quantitative tools used in portfolio construction.

    • Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational risk.

     

    Up to 110k salary

    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics, engineering, computer science, or related field.

    • 2–5 years of experience in asset management, sell-side research, RIA hedge fund, or institutional investment setting, experience in investment operations or portfolio support.

    • Familiarity with portfolio management processes, trading workflows, and investment operations.

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets; alternative data experience preferred.

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.

     

    Demonstrated interest in progressing toward a portfolio management role. • Advanced degree or CFA progress (Level II/III candidate) preferred

     

    • Proficiency in Python; Power Bi, additional technical skills (Excel, SQL, Factset, Bloomberg)

    • Understanding of systematic equity strategies, factor research, asset allocation, and portfolio optimization
