Job Description
BAE Systems - Weapon Systems is seeking an Associate Program Manager to join our team in Minneapolis, MN.
The successful candidate will support Weapon Systems programs under the Precision Guided Munitions Advanced Development & Capture directorate, with a focus on:
+ Delivering exceptional customer satisfaction
+ Achieving cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives
+ Effectively managing program complexities, including production and product sustainment
Responsibilities:
The Associate Program Manager will work collaboratively across functional lines to meet program objectives, with primary responsibilities including:
+ Supporting Program Managers in managing Long Range Precision Fires (LRPF) contracts to ensure on-time deliveries and project execution
+ Developing and maintaining program documentation, such as the Program Plan of Execution, Risk and Opportunity Management Plan, and Life Cycle Management plans
+ Coordinating activities across multiple functions to support program objectives
+ Assisting in the management of hardware deliverables, shipments, and internal planning and coordination activities
+ Developing reports on key program metrics, including on-time delivery, hardware production, and performance to labor and material budgets
+ Supporting recurring status meetings with the program team and customer
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience, or equivalent education/experience
+ Experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or business environment
+ Experience with program scope and cost estimating, including ETC/EAC processes
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
+ Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills
+ Customer-focused and able to build strong relationships
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
+ Graduate degree (MBA) or professional certification (PMP)
+ Experience in manufacturing, assembly, machining, welding, mechanical engineering, or operations management
+ Experience in program/project management (EVMS), controls, or coordination
+ Experience with Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and cross-functional teams
+ International business experience
+ Advanced proficiency in ORACLE, Microsoft Project, or Microsoft Excel applications
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
