    In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) solutions, you ll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions.

     

    BAE Systems is seeking a self-motivated and experienced program manager to manage Digital Interrogator (DI) Production and Spares projects. This position has the responsibility for the leadership and management oversight of a project team assuring that project s financials, schedule, and technical objectives are met and that the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved while meeting all contractual commitments. Reporting to the Maritime Sensors & Systems Program Area Director, this role will require strong cross functional leadership and customer management to operate in this dynamic environment balancing program execution as well as supporting new business initiatives.

     

    The candidate must be able to work effectively and collaboratively with Engineering, Operations, and all Program Office functional leadership to assure deliveries continue to exceed customer commitments and achievement of financial commitments to the company. The candidate will manage, coordinate, plan, organize, control, integrate, and execute projects in support of DI production requirements. In addition, the candidate will participate in the support of new business, manage production spares, and proposal development.

    The primary responsibilities of this role include:

    + Provide leadership and management oversight for the DI Production team, assuring the team s Program Area and Product Line objectives are met, and the highest level of customer satisfaction is achieved.

    + Responsible and accountable to the Program Area and Product Line Management for program execution, profitability, timeliness, and overall success. Make timely decisions that are cost effective to the company and ensures assigned projects meet financial commitments for orders, sales, profit, and cash.

    + Accountable for all aspects of assigned program s execution (cost, schedule, technical performance, quality, risk management, and customer engagement) throughout all the Life Cycle Management (LCM) phases, ensuring program commitments are met while having the authority to make cogent and timely decisions related to the project.

    + Acts as the primary point of contact between BAE Systems and the customer program office, suppliers, and key customer stakeholders.

    + Excellent executive presence and communication skills, including oral presentations, and written correspondence.

    + Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills while interfacing with program team members, company personnel, suppliers, and customers.

    + Improves our work environment by promoting teamwork, wellness, workplace flexibility, modeling inclusive behaviors, and increasing leadership engagement.

     

    Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.

    Required Education, Experience, & Skills

    + Bachelor s degree and relevant prior experience on production programs.

    + Strong experience/understanding in the mechanisms of a defense production environment, managing associated tools, and concepts required to support the production environment.

    + Expertise in project management and supply chain & subcontract management.

    + Past performance in successfully leading and managing multi-discipline project teams.

    + Strong presentation and organizational skills.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    + US Citizen able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

    Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

    + 5-10 years of experience within program management.

    + Expertise in project management, earned value management, risk management, supply chain, and subcontract management.

    + Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.

    + Experience in new business capture.

    + Knowledge of the defense aerospace market and experience working with US Navy program offices.

    + Experience in business case development, analysis, and presentation.

    + Active Secret Clearance.

     

    Pay Information

     

    Full-Time Salary Range: $150370 - $255630

     

    Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
