• TS/SCI Platform Engineer

    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking to hire a Cloud Platform Engineer in the Reston, VA area. This individual will join a team focused on maintaining and enhancing secure primarily Azure cloud environments. The role involves overseeing the DevSecOps ecosystem, maintaining containerized workloads, and administering Kubernetes clusters. The engineer will automate infrastructure provisioning, support CI/CD pipelines, and ensure compliance across deployments. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on experience with cloud architecture, container management, and infrastructure-as-code tools, and will be expected to contribute immediately to mission-critical initiatives.

    Compensation:

    $75.00/hr to $80.00/hr.

     

    Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

     

    Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment.     Skills and Requirements

     

    - Active TS/SCI security clearance

     

    - 4+ years of DevOps engineering experience

     

    - Strong hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications

     

    - 3+ years of experience with automation tools, including Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Puppet

     

    - 3+ years of experience with automating system configurations and orchestrating network operations and DevOps pipelines, scaling, releases, and day-to-day system operations in Cloud environments

     

    - 3+ years of experience with managing Git-based version control systems, including GitLab and GitHub

     

    - 2+ years of experience with architecting and deploying applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform - Scripting experience in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby

     

    - Familiarity with configuration formats like YAML, JSON, or XML

     

    - Certifications in Agile, DevOps, or Cloud technologies
