    Job Description

    An employer in the insurance industry is seeking a Project Manager / Business Analyst for their fully-remote team. The ideal candidate will lead and support technical projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment across stakeholders and maintaining clear communication throughout. This hybrid role requires both strategic oversight and hands-on analysis to drive successful implementations and integrations. Responsibilities include managing new technical projects and reporting on active initiatives via ServiceNow, preparing detailed project status updates, and coordinating with in-house business units and external third-party vendors. The PM/BA will field new business-driven technical requests, vet them for feasibility and alignment, and stand up projects based on demand flow. They will collaborate with stakeholders to assess capacity and define deliverables, participate in meetings to understand business problems, and hold technical teams and vendors accountable for timelines and outcomes. The candidate will oversee integrations and implementations involving platforms such as Salesforce and ServiceNow, with a strong emphasis on compliance. The PM/BA will manage a mix of internal and third-party projects, ensuring successful delivery across infrastructure, operations, and enterprise strategy.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - 8+ years of relevant IT PM and BA experience

     

    - Experience using ServiceNow as a project management tool, as well as an ITSM tool

     

    - Can demonstrate strong documentation experience - from project documentation like user stories and project plans, to building process documentation from scratch

     

    - Experience working in an Agile / Scrum environment

     

    - Experience working with both internal teams and external third-party vendors

     

    - Proven experience pathing projects to successful go-live state - Experience working in an IT organization in the insurance industry
