• TS/SCI High Band System Software Support Engineer

    Job Description

    A government client of Insight Global is looking for an expert level High Band System Support Engineer to join their team at Beale AFB, CA. In this role, this High-Band System Software Support Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of IT hardware and software infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems, through systems analysis techniques and procedures. We are looking for an individual that has ELINT (electronic intelligence), SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) and DCGS (Distributed Common Ground Systems) experience. This individual will be responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to IT infrastructure, such as user systems, servers, storage, and network connectivity. You will also manage system administration tasks for assigned infrastructure, maintain system security, apply security patches and operating system upgrades, support new infrastructure projects, and keep all configuration documentation up to date.

     

    We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized individual with excellent problem-solving skills. This is a 6-month contract position with an extension possible that requires an active TSSCI clearance or a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. This is an on-site position at Beale Airforce Base in Marysville, California. This is a 24/7 environment so this individual will need to be open to day, mid, and swing shifts as well as holidays and weekends when needed.     - Active TS/SCI clearance

     

    - Security + Certification

     

    - Bachelor's Degree in Technical Field

     

    - 3+ years of ELINT(Electronic Intelligence) experience

     

    - 3+ years of Airforce DCGS (Distributed Common Ground Systems) experience

     

    - 3+ years of Airforce SIGINT (Signals Intelligence) experience

     

    - Linux/Unix experience
