The role you'll contribute:

The Operations Optimization Analyst's main function is to support the Distribution Center's workflow, review current processes, and recommend necessary improvements. The analyst must fully understand the flow of operations for all functional processes between ERP and TECSYS applications. This person is the acting liaison between the operational team and the technical team. The Operations Optimization Analyst will be responsible for effective provisioning, configuration, operation, and restricted maintenance of TECSYS systems. They will requisition, and manage all hardware repairs including, tracking from the Distribution Center to vendor and returns. This individual would partner with various departments for process improvement regarding future technical research and development. Ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, volunteers, and partners. Utilizes troubleshooting skills to investigate problems and appropriately request AIT interactions. Coordinate with management on initializing new users within the operations.

+ Understands interrelationships and business applications of TECSYS DMS, WMS, and MDM modules.

+ Troubleshoots system issues and implements corrective actions locally or through AIT requests.

+ Acts as a liaison between the Distribution Center and AIT to ensure effective communication and resolution of technical issues.

+ Reviews and approves system access for TECSYS dialogues to maintain security and functionality.

+ Maintains and develops the package tracking system, including setting up scanners and barcodes, and addressing any related issues.

+ Creates and updates installation guides, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials to support system users.

+ Recommends and implements process improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.

+ Provides first-level support for incident and change management, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

+ Develops ad hoc reports to support operational and management decision-making.

+ Contributes to incident reports and root-cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.

+ Tests fixes and follows up to ensure resolution of system issues.

+ Assists with software upgrades and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruptions.

+ Reports site downtime and production schedule changes to relevant stakeholders.

+ Develops and maintains knowledge of operational software and processes to provide effective support and training to users.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed** **:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED** **:

+ Bachelors Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or other analytical discipline

+ 5 years of experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

+ ERP system experience

+ TECSYS WMS/DMS/DM experience
