• Part-Time Assistant Research Scientist (Li Lab)

    The Fei Li lab is seeking to fill a part-time Assistant Research Scientist position for a project on chromatin biology and epigenetics. Responsibilities may include conducting experiments; data analysis; troubleshooting and resolving problems and helping with special projects; maintaining lab equipment, including glassware, and media preparation.

     

    In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act the annual base salary range for this position is $20-$26/hour for 18-22 hours per week. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.

     

    Qualifications being sought i nclude a bachelor's degree in in some field of biology and a minimum of one year of research experience . A master’s degree is preferred. In addition, experiences with yeast genetics, epigenetics and chromatin, or fluorescence microscopy are desirable but not required.
