    We are actively hiring an Expert Korean Linguist to join our team working in Reston, VA. You will be responsible for supporting a government agency and your office with translation, transcription, and/or interpretation services.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    + The linguist will provide translation, transcription and interpretation from source language to English and vice versa.

    + An understanding of technical documents and cyber and military terminology is strongly preferred.

    + The linguist will translate selected technical documents upon request.

    + Work will be performed during ordinary hours (e.g., 8-5) in an ordinary work week (Monday-Friday).

    REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    + TS/SCI with Polygraph is required

    + Bachelor’s or master’s degree desired in Translation or Interpretation

    + Translation/Transcription and Interpretation into English

    + Collection from published, online and broadcast media

    + Editing

    + Quality Control

    + Military

    + Social Media

    + Summarizing/Gisting while drawing upon linguistic or cultural expertise

    + Triage

    + Translation Related Services

    + Workflow

    PREFERRED SKILLS

    + Desired Professional Association Memberships: ATA, AIIC, TAALS, NAJIT, IAPTI, NCIHC, Etc.

    + CAT Tools (Lilt, MS Suite, etc.)

    + HLT

    + Quality Control of language products

    + Writing Analysis

    + Writing reports

    +  Cyber, Science and Technology and Targting
