    About the role

     

    HealthFitness is looking for Group Exercise Instructors to join the fitness team at our client site located in North Bethesda, MD. In this position you will provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise to senior members participating in the program such as chair fit, low impact strength, core and stretch formats. Class times available include:

     

    Mondays- 6pm-7:00pm

     

    Tuesdays- 10:00am-10:45am & 6:00pm-6:45pm

     

    Wednesdays-6:30-7:30pm

     

    Responsible for providing fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, and circuit.

    Minimum Requirements

    + Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.

    + Adult CPR/AED and First Aid certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.

    + 2+ years group exercise instruction experience preferred.

    + Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

     

    Compensation: $32/Hour - $42/Hour. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
