    JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE

    Performs work related to the maintenance, repair, modification, and troubleshooting of plant equipment as a member of the Integrated Valve Team.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Performs maintenance, inspections, repair, testing, and troubleshooting on actuator and valve equipment.

    + Implements and performs preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on I&C equipment and on plant valve equipment.

    + Identifies problems, defects, and failures which degrade component and system integrity or reliability.

    + Assists Engineering with testing and evaluations. Performs skilled work involving valve diagnostic testing to properly setup of valves and diagnose any potential anomalies within the valve or actuator.

    + Performs technical reviews of procedures and other plant documents.

    + Serves as a member of the ENS Integrated Valve Team Outage Organization / Shared Resourcing.

    + Must be willing to be crossed trained in all aspects of valve repair and diagnostics. Including AOV, MOV, and internal valve repair.

    Qualifications, Experience and Physical Requirements:

    I&C Technician 3:

    + 4 Years commercial nuclear experience

    + Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operations

    I&C Technician 2:

    + 2 years commercial nuclear experience

    + Technical understanding of nuclear generation principles and operations

    I&C Technician 1:

    + High School diploma or GED **Desired qualifications:**

    1. Related vocational, trade school apprentice program, or equivalent military training.

    2. Ability to make semi-technical calculations involved in the electrical area.

    3. Experience in nuclear power plant maintenance

    4. Ability to use required tools and equipment and possess capability to make complex repairs and adjustments on plant I&C equipment.

    5. Communicate technical information concepts and ideas verbally and in writing.

    6. Be familiar with company safety rules.

    7. Ability to read prints, verbal comprehension and the ability to troubleshoot and repair I&C Equipment.

    8. Basic I&C and Process Analog Controls (PAC) qualified.

    9. **Air Opperated Valve (AOV) experience HIGHLY DESIRED**

    Working Conditions:

    ANSI/ANS Qualification’s, Candidates must meet or exceed ANSI/ANS 3.1-1978. SBI Section 4.5.3-Maintenance Personnel standard. Individual must also possess the following certification(s) for valve and actuator rebuilds, and diagnostic testing at Level II or Senior level.
