    As a Senior Analyst, Strategic Programs, you will play a meaningful role in supporting the internal operations of Micron’s Government & Public Affairs (GPA) team and working on initiatives to advance Micron’s position as a world technology leader!

     

    You will support GPA’s semiconductor policy development and enable the execution, coordination and optimization of internal initiatives and processes. Your work will enable GPA’s global operations to be outstanding and to efficiently achieve its global policy goals.

    Role and Responsibilities

    + Coordinate internal projects and cross-functional initiatives, ensuring all are well-defined and consistently implemented.

    + Conduct research and analysis of emerging topics on a range of semiconductor technology and public policy issues. Write reports and policy briefs, build presentation materials and support GPA team members on various projects.

    + Build collaborative relations across the global GPA team and with its key partners to achieve business goals. Primarily responsible for supporting US regional and policy & business partnership teams.

    + Support budget and vendor management, including:

    + Develop and modify purchase orders, supervise invoices and spending, and support quarterly budget cycles.

    + Assist new suppliers with onboarding and find opportunities to improve financial workflows.

    + Ensure the effective adoption and enablement of GPA’s technology stack—including AI tools—to maximize team collaboration and operational efficiency.

    + Collect and coordinate data related to GPA initiatives and important metrics.

    + Contribute to reports and executive-level presentations showcasing GPA’s impact.

    + Design and refine internal processes including compliance workflows, external engagement tracking, and information management protocols.

    + Provide additional assistance as needed including the development of briefing materials, collaborator maps and engagement calendars.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + BA/BS degree required, Public Policy, Business Administration, Political Science or related field preferred.

    + 3-5 years of experience in operations, project coordination, or government/public affairs support; at least 2 years in government/public affairs support preferred.

    + Track record of applying project management principles and tools.

    + Ability to independently manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.

    + Strong organizational and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation).

    + Must be adept in developing external engagement materials, e.g., briefing documents.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, Excel).

    + Experience working in a global, cross-functional team environment.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Project/program management certification (e.g., PMP).

    + Experience with SAP, Ariba or other finance systems.

    + Experience utilizing AI tools or agent development.

    + Knowledge or a curiosity about politics, technology, international affairs or issues facing global companies.

    The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

    $96,000.00 - $164,000.00

     

    Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
