    Position Description:** **Cardiac Sonographer

    The Cardiac Sonographer responsibilities include:

    + Serves as a member of the Cardiology Team, engaged in the conduct and performance of Cardiac Ultrasound / Doppler diagnostic testing.

    + This team member is required to assist the physician and other related healthcare professionals in these technical areas and is responsible for all aspects of clinical support.

    + Functions independently with minimal supervision.

    Requirements:

    Certifications and Licensures:

    + BLS (Basic Life Support)

    + RDCS or RCS (Sonography) within 1 year

    Education:

    + Technical specialized in cardiovascular technology/sonography/ultrasound field

    + **Preferred:** Associate's - Science

    Experience:

    + Preferred1 year Echocardiography experience
