The Opportunity
Program Director - System Quality and Safety Program Operations
TheProgram Director - System Quality and Safety Operations (PD) is a key member of the UCHealth system-level quality and safety team. This role will work very closely with program senior leadership and is responsible for the administration and coordination of quality and safety program functions at the system level, including but not limited to maintaining and updating program processes and procedures, optimizing committee structures and function, project managing system-level improvement efforts for large quality and safety priority initiatives, facilitating vertical alignment of quality program across UCHealth's continuum, and collaborating with organizational leaders across multiple disciplines, levels and regions to ensure solid lines of communication and connectivity.
Reporting Relationships
Reports to: UCHealth System Chief Quality Officer
Specific Responsibilities
+ Works closely with Quality and Safety program leadership to ensure smooth and effective program operations including but not limited to collecting and managing materials for system and Board level committees, communications and deliverables; collating and maintaining program documents, processes and procedures; facilitating coordination and alignment of work across program functions and geography
+ Provides project management for large, complex, system-level improvement initiatives
+ Serves as a liaison and informational conduit between Quality and Safety and its key stakeholders (eg. hospital and regional leadership, physicians and APPs, nursing, operations, etc.)
+ Helps coordinate and support Quality and Safety week activities
+ Identifies opportunities to improve workflows, processes and efficiency with the quality and safety function
+ Collects and collates materials for annual reports, manages timeline for assembly and distribution
+ Helps develop and maintain program budget.
Candidate Qualifications

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
+ Bachelor's Degree in health care administration, business, nursing or other healthcare of clinically-related field, advanced degree preferred (Master's in Business or Healthcare administration or equivalent)
+ 5 years of relevant healthcare experience
+ 2 years of project management or performance improvement experience, preferable related to quality and safety
Qualifications, Skills and Traits
+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, critical thinking and organizational skills are key competencies. Candidates should be able to work in a complex, highly matrixed, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
+ Strong ability to lead by influence and manage through change, with a solid understanding of and ability to apply change management strategies.
+ Must be able to lead and support continuous process improvement, utilizing benchmarked data (where possible), trend analysis and other mechanisms to achieve excellence while creating value.
+ Demonstrated ability to build relationships, credibility and trust across multiple disciplines and organizational levels
+ High level of comfort interacting with all strata of the organization from Board and C-Suite to clinical and front line staff.
Pay: $108,846 - $174,158 annual base pay. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
