BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Part-Time Certified Nursing Assistant in the N. Philadelphia area. BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - Certified Nursing assistant CNA - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability (Autism, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and other diagnoses) to help them reach their full potential. As a member of our team, you will be valued, respected, and heard. We are committed to investing in people and nurturing their desire to grow.

We currently have part-time/per-diem shifts available in the following zip codes:

+ 19111, T-Thur 9am-1pm

+ 19124, W 6:30p-7a, Sat 8p-8a, Sun 8p-7a overnight

+ Will be working along side with a special education teacher

A Certified Nurse Aide must:

+ Have at least one year of work experience

+ **Active CNA Cert** and Must be listed on the PA Aide Registry, active and in good standing.

+ Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English

+ Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination

Job Responsibilities for CNA - Certified Nurse Aide :

+ Activities of daily living

+ Light housekeeping

+ Bathing

+ Grooming

+ Toileting

+ Range of motion / exercises

+ Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices

+ Oral feeding

+ Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration

+ Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.

+ Assisting with ambulation
