The Upstream Marketing role - **Product Manager,** will be instrumental in shaping our innovation pipeline by leading global, pre-stage gate concept assessments and serving as the technical and clinical marketing lead for new product development projects from concept to launch through end-of-life. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical and/or clinical experience who thrives in early-stage product exploration, and excels at bridging customer needs with engineering solutions in the Breast Health space.
Key responsibilities
+ Lead upstream product management for the Breast Screening franchise, including market-leading mammography solutions
+ Proactively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, clinical, and commercial, to assess technical feasibility and shape product concepts before prototype development
+ Serve as the technical marketing core member on product development teams, translating customer requirements and clinical insights into actionable feedback for the innovation and engineering teams
+ Conduct in-field customer visits, interviews, and voice-of-customer research to identify and validate unmet clinical needs and product desirability
+ Lead cross-functional teams to meet milestones and ensure timely product launches and lifecycle management activities with a high level of quality
+ Analyze addressable market size, reimbursement landscape, and competitive positioning to inform business cases
+ Partner with Med Relations on KOL Development and with Clinical Affairs on expanding product claims/indications
+ Promote a culture of partnership with cross-functional teams while maintaining a shared level of urgency
+ Understand competitive landscape and integrate business needs into project plan and desired claims into marketing plan
+ Responsible for portfolio strategy and roadmap
+ Oversee and Influence launch execution in partnership with downstream regional marketing
Strategy, Innovation, and Market Management
+ Develop comprehensive global business cases for Opportunity to Market (O2M) innovation process
+ Develop new market and concept ideas that include strategic fit, market sizing & financial modeling, high level unmet clinical needs definition, competitive landscape, sales readiness and commercial implications, and go, no-go recommendation
+ Collaboration with cross-functional ideation teams on project opportunity assessment, gate reviews, and strategic alignment
+ Gain alignment with internal and external customers for key decisions
+ Advise and implement lifecycle management including end-of-sale and end-of-life roll out strategies.
+ Build and maintain relationships with clinicians, Scientific and Medical Advisory Board members and relevant medical societies to ensure clinical relevance and technical rigor in product development
Position requires ~30% travel (international included)
Qualifications
+ BS required, Master's/MBA preferred
+ Minimum 5 years’ experience in upstream marketing, product development, or technical/clinical roles within medical devices
+ Strong analytical,financial modeling, and strategic thinking skills
+ Excellent communication,presentation, and interpersonal skills; able to ask insightful questions and synthesize complex information for diverse audiences
+ Proven track record managing complex projects and working as a collaborative, cross-functional team member

The annualized base salary range for this role is $111,000 to $173,700 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
