    Description of Duties

    This position is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and tracking data for various purposes such as audits, reports, and surveys. Work is performed independently and leeway is allowed for determining research methods and techniques. The employee reports directly to and works under general supervision of a higher level employee. Does related work as required.

    Minimum Qualifications

    Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma plus EITHER:

    + Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree in a social science or behavioral science field with successful completion of at least six (6) college semester credit hours** in data science, data analysis, research methods, or statistics; OR,

    + Graduation with an Associate’s degree in a social science or behavioral science field with successful completion of at least six (6) college semester credit hours*** in data science, data analysis, research methods, or statistics, plus two (2) years paid full-time or its part-time equivalent professional** experience in research, working with community based participatory research, or in applied research; OR,

    + An equivalent combination of education and experience as defined by the limits of (A) and (B) above.

    **Candidates qualifying under (A) and (B) above must submit a student or unofficial copy of their college transcript along with their application.

    * **Professional experience for the purposes of these minimum qualifications, does not include secretarial/clerical or similar experience.
