As a **Security Guard - Access Control Patrol** in **Fountain Inn, SC** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a vital role in maintaining a secure environment. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and managing badge access to help to deter unauthorized entry. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the facility, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms when needed. Utilizing your experience with access control systems and alarm panels, along with your comfort using computers or tablets, you will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to everyone on site. What You’ll Do:

+ Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

+ Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education

+ Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams

+ Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service

+ Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

+ Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of individuals entering and exiting the premises.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.

+ Carry out security-related procedures and adhere to site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and client guidelines.

+ Provide customer service to individuals at the location by answering questions and assisting as needed while maintaining security-related protocols.

+ Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures.

+ Assist with emergency response activities when appropriate, following established procedures for the manufacturing and industrial environment.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Availability across various days and shifts

+ Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

+ A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

+ Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements:

+ At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
