Our client, an international manufacturer, is seeking Machine Operators to join their team in Virginia Beach, VA. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the polymer team setting up and operating production machines. The ideal candidate will have communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator

Shifts: A, B, C, D shifts available

Pay Range: Starting Pay at $17.00/hr. (increases depending on shift)

**After 2-week probationary period,** the pay rate increases (depending on shift) to $18.00/hr. and increases to $19.00/hr. after 90 days working. B/D shifts will have a higher increase from shift differential.

**Additional Pay Incentives:** _all associates are eligible for a $0.25 cent raise each order for the first year of employment. After 1 year, all associates are eligible for a $1.00 raise each year._

What’s the Job?

+ Sets up, operates and tends production machines as they process parts and restarts machines

+ Replaces worn or broken machine accessories

+ Inspects completed product for any defects

+ May assist in other areas of the plant

What’s Needed?

+ Previous work experience as a machine operator is required

+ Ability to stand for long periods of time

+ High School Diploma or GED

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly

+ Reliable Transportation
