    Idaho Public Television (PTV) has an exciting and very rare opportunity for a Corporate & Community Partnerships Manager.

     

    About the Agency:Idaho Public Television is a PBS member station and Idaho's only locally owned and operated statewide broadcast network. We are a state agency under the Idaho State Board of Education. Our nonprofit arm, The Friends of Idaho Public Television, Inc., provides private support for our content production and educational efforts and allows us to produce award-winning long form documentaries, quality public affairs journalism, podcasts, educational digital lesson plans, and community events.     Summary:

    The Corporate & Community Partnerships Manager builds meaningful relationships with businesses and community organizations that share a commitment to Idaho Public Television’s mission. This role focuses on creating mutually beneficial partnerships that recognize partner support, generate essential funding, and strengthen our impact in the communities we serve. By connecting corporate and community partners to our viewers and donors, this position ensures that investments in public media advance storytelling, education, and community engagement. This is not ad sales—it’s about meaningful, mission-driven partnerships that engage audiences and support Idaho Public Television’s service to the citizens of Idaho and beyond. This is a salaried position, not commission-based and with excellent benefits. The Corporate and Community Partnerships Manager is member of a robust fundraising teams and reports to the Director of Charitable Giving.

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Manage a portfolio of approximately 75 corporate and community accounts with an annual fundraising goal of $1 million.

    + Identify, develop, steward, and grow relationships with businesses and community organizations, to maximize financial support while ensuring alignment with the station’s mission and values.

    + Drive high renewal rates by demonstrating proof of performance in partnership value to build long-term financial sustainability.

    + Create customized proposals, partnership packages, and recognition opportunities across broadcast, digital, and community platforms.

    + Develop multi-platform options for funders to be recognized and thanked for their support of IdahoPTV including, but not limited to, broadcast and streaming, digital platforms, podcasts, print, email and social media.

    + Collaborate with internal teams such as philanthropy, donor services, marcomm, production, education and others to identify, develop, and fulfill partnership opportunities, including on-air, digital, and event-based recognition.

    + Manage multiplatform, omnichannel recognition messaging that aligns with IdahoPTV’s mission and adheres to FCC and nonprofit regulations.

    + Supervise production for broadcast and streaming, VOD, print and digital messages that meet partner goals while adhering to regulatory compliance standards and is in support of IdahoPTV’s fundraising goals.

    + Manage production for broadcast/streaming funder message which includes script and storyboard development, asset collection, production scheduling and insertion instructions.

    + Manage contracts, invoices, affidavits, and production orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of partner recognition.

    + Track, report, and evaluate partnership performance, ensuring accountability to both partners and organizational goals with a focus on driving revenue and retention.

    + Maintain expertise in design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite to create compelling proposals and presentations.

    + Track and report on viewership/audience data (Neilsen and MRI), digital engagement metrics and partnership impact to internal teams.

    + Review reports for expiring and active contracts, inventory availability by tracking inventory usage, for use in internal and external reporting

    + Supervise monthly FCC reporting of corporate partnerships.

    + Represent the station at community and industry events, strengthening visibility and expanding the partnership network.

    Skills and capabilities you will gain in the first 12 months (training provided)

     

    + FCC Compliance and PBS/IdahoPTV Underwriting Guidelines - Knowledge of Federal Communications Commission regulations for public broadcasting, underwriting acknowledgment rules, and what constitutes acceptable corporate messaging versus advertising.

    + Media Planning and Valuation - Ability to create an underwriting package with accurate audience metrics. Understand calculating impressions/CPM, update media kits, and provide reach/frequency data and demographic breakdowns.

    + Broadcast Traffic and Scheduling Systems - Proficiency with broadcast traffic software to schedule underwriting spots, manage acknowledgments, and ensure proper spot rotation and placement.

    + Audience Research and Analytics - Experience measuring public media audiences, Understand and use measurement tools to provide reports with engagement data, audience demographics, audience value propositions, and impact metrics.

    + Corporate Partnership Structuring - Knowledge of pricing models, underwriting package development, benefits fulfillment, stewardship.

    Minimum Qualifications:

    + Some knowledge of management practices. Typically gained by supervising staff, vendors and/or volunteers.

    Experience:

    + developing procedures and/or monitoring a budget; supervising staff; providing liaison with customer/provider groups; interpreting federal or state regulations. Typically gained by demonstrated performance setting and monitoring budgets; recruiting, hiring and managing performance expectations of others; securing services and purchasing from vendors; operating under organization guidelines, rules or policies.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, nonprofit management, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

    + Minimum 3–5 years of experience in corporate relations, fundraising, development, or partnership management (nonprofit or public media experience preferred).

    + Proven ability to cultivate, steward, and grow mission-aligned partnerships.

    + Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.

    + High level of organizational skills and ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.

    + Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for proposal and presentation development.

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-driven environment
