    General Description

    Are you enthusiastic about human anatomy, physiology, and the power of education to transform lives? SUNY Niagara is seeking an innovative, student-focused Anatomy & Physiology Instructor to shape the future of aspiring healthcare and science professionals. This is a full-time, ten-month, Tenure-track position within our Business & STEM divsion.

    Essential Functions

    Ability to work with and teach a diverse student population. Ability to be an active member in the division and serve on committees representing the division. Ability to speak in front of groups of people. Must be able to communicate effectively with students, co-workers, supervisors, and the campus community. Must be able to develop, prepare and present information. Must able to operate computers. Must be able to physically perform the duties of the position.

    Required Qualifications

    + Master’s degree in Biology, Anatomy & Physiology, or a closely related discipline.

    + One (1) year of full-time (or equivalent) teaching experience at the post-secondary level

    + Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and laboratory techniques.

    Desirable Qualifications

    + Ph.D. in Biology or related discipline

    + Teaching experience at a community college

    + Experience using publisher-based educational technology (or OER ) and learning management systems such as Brightspace

Fully outfitted with modern labs and tools for students to use as they train in both classic and trendy techniques, NFCI is home to Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry Arts, and Hospitality programs. The college also operates Savor, a fine dining restaurant, and La Patisserie, a European-style pastry café, at NFCI .
