    Verdantas is seeking a Construction Representative for the Mentor, Ohio, Office.

     

    In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of infrastructure development, supporting field inspections, construction oversight, and quality assurance for a wide range of municipal and environmental projects. From sanitary and storm sewer installations to pavement rehabilitation and waterline construction, you’ll help ensure projects meet specifications, safety standards, and client expectations.

    What You'll Do:

    + Assist in the supervision and coordination of construction activities on-site

    + Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to the Construction Manager

    + Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

    + Conduct site inspections to verify work is performed according to plans and specifications

    + Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered

    + Communicate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders

    + Assist in resolving any on-site issues or conflicts that may arise

    + Participate in project meetings and provide updates on construction progress

    What You Bring:

    + Possession of a bachelor’s or associate degree in civil engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering, or relevant construction experience

    + Prior experience in monitoring municipal infrastructure construction work on sanitary and storm sewer projects, waterlines, pump stations, roadway improvements, and related work for compliance with the contract plans and specifications.

    + Ability to read and understand blueprints, contract specifications, and to interact with clients, contractors, and management.

    Salary Range:

    $25.00 - $27.00
