Job Purpose:

A technical leader responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems that meet quality standards and business objectives. This role combines engineering expertise with project and team management to deliver reliable automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

+ **Technical Leadership:** Define control system architecture, select technologies, and guide detailed design while ensuring robust, scalable solutions

+ **Project Management:** Plan engineering projects, monitor progress, and drive on-time, on-budget delivery

+ **Quality Assurance:** Review and approve technical designs, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with safety standards

+ **Team Leadership:** Mentor and supervise control systems engineers, foster high performance, and develop talent

+ **Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work with hardware, software, and operations teams to integrate control systems into product designs

+ **Continuous Improvement:** Drive innovation in engineering processes and control system performance

+ Manage the engineering resources and budget for the control systems group.

Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

+ 10+ years of engineering experience with 5+ years in leadership roles

+ Proven expertise in industrial control systems and electrical engineering

+ Strong project management skills and ability to meet performance targets

+ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

+ Travel up to 10% annually

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Advanced degree (Master's/PhD) in relevant field

+ Professional Engineering certification or PMP

+ Experience in oil and gas, power generation, or industrial equipment

+ Multi-site leadership experience

+ Innovation record with patents or technical publications
