    Job Description

    We are seeking a full-time Systems Engineer- Hybrid. This position is for a Systems Engineer to join our Systems Engineering Team in support of the US/UK Trident Submarine Strategic Weapon System Program. This Systems Engineer will be responsible for managing system-level requirements modules using DOORS , this includes gathering and deriving requirements from specifications, requirements of subsystems, as well as traceability assessments. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess excellent planning skills, and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication abilities.

    Responsibilities

    + Manage system-level requirements modules in DOORS, including deriving requirements from parent and reference specifications.

    + Allocate requirements to subsystems and perform impact and traceability assessments, suggesting corrective actions as needed.

    + Engage with system architecture and verification teams to ensure requirements satisfaction and verification.

    + Generate and present views of requirements to leadership and stakeholders for review and approval.

    + Leverage DOORS Extension Language activities for enhanced system management.

    Essential Skills

    + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or related field.

    + 4+ years of relevant work experience in systems engineering.

    + Proficiency in requirements management tools such as DOORS.

    + Strong interpersonal skills for interaction with diverse work teams.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

     

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering, including DOORS/DXL and SysML.

    + Experience with the U.S. Navy's Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) Office and Strategic Weapon Systems.

    + Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.

    + Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) INCOSE certification is preferred.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $43.26 - $60.00/hr.
