Description

Robert Half is seeking a skilled Systems Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, optimizing, and managing our hybrid infrastructure. This position will focus on ensuring secure, high-performing application hosting environments across both Azure cloud and on-premise data centers.

What You’ll Do:

+ Design, implement, and optimize application hosting solutions in Azure and on-premises environments.

+ Evaluate infrastructure for security risks and recommend hardening measures.

+ Manage virtualization and Windows performance tuning.

+ Lead Active Directory domain consolidations.

+ Collaborate with developers and DBAs to integrate application security and address vulnerabilities.

+ Automate hosting, storage, and maintenance tasks using scripting tools.

+ Participate in disaster recovery and site recovery planning.

+ Support equipment lifecycle management and refresh cycles.

+ Monitor systems, manage alerts, and provide on-call support as part of a rotation.

+ Work with network and software engineering teams to restore services and resolve issues.

+ Contribute to IT operations and cross-functional projects as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

+ Strong experience with Azure and hybrid cloud infrastructure.

+ Expertise in Windows optimization, virtualization, and Active Directory.

+ Knowledge of security best practices and application security protocols.

+ Proficiency with scripting and automation tools.

+ Experience in disaster recovery planning and systems monitoring.

+ Excellent collaboration and troubleshooting skills.
