Description We are looking for a skilled Paralegal/Contract Manager to join our team on a contract basis in Cottage Grove, Wisconsin. In this role, you will handle a variety of legal and compliance tasks, contributing to the healthcare industry while supporting organizational goals. This position requires a proactive and meticulous individual with expertise in managing contracts and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and oversee a range of commercial agreements, including MSAs, NDAs, BAAs, and vendor contracts.

• Enhance and maintain the organization's Contract Lifecycle Management processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

• Provide support for entity management tasks, including the preparation of board documentation.

• Assist in compliance with healthcare regulations and contribute to regulatory reporting efforts.

• Manage intellectual property portfolios and negotiate related agreements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external legal counsel to address legal and compliance matters.

• Utilize AI-assisted legal tools and emerging technologies to streamline processes and improve outcomes.

• Ensure effective case management and organization using relevant software.

• Contribute to trial preparation and discovery procedures as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a corporate paralegal, preferably in healthcare or life sciences.

• Bachelor's degree along with a recognized paralegal certificate or equivalent relevant experience.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with systems like NetSuite.

• Skilled in using legal tools and databases to manage contracts and compliance tasks.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to collaborate across teams.

• Knowledge of civil litigation, trial preparation, and discovery processes.

• Experience with case management software to ensure efficient handling of legal matters.

• Interest in leveraging emerging technologies and AI-assisted tools to optimize legal workflows.
