• Automation Engineer (75% Travel)

    Actalent (Crest Hill, IL)


    + Develop and configure drive systems for automated machinery.

    + Program and troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems.

    + Design and implement HMI (Human-Machine Interface) applications.

    + Integrate and support data acquisition and SCADA systems.

    + Design electrical circuits and develop associated documentation.

    + Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for system components.

    + Conduct system testing and validation prior to deployment.

    + Perform system start-ups and commissioning at customer sites.

    + Provide field engineering services for customer drive systems and automation controls.

    + Deliver technical assistance and customer service to internal teams and external clients.

    + Conduct engineering studies to support system improvements and troubleshooting.

    + 75% travel to customer sites for system installation, commissioning, and support.

    + 25% onsite work at the Crest Hill, IL location for system development and preparation.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $48.08/hr.
