    Job Title: Chief Structural Engineer

    Job Description

    Seeking a highly experienced and confident Chief Structural Engineer to lead engineering efforts across U.S. and Canadian operations. This role is critical to driving technical excellence, resolving engineering challenges, and supporting business development initiatives.

    Responsibilities

    + Review non-conformance reports and identify and address design issues.

    + Collaborate assertively with design engineering teams.

    + Drive product readiness from design to production and streamline in-house engineering processes.

    + Contribute to proposals and customer-facing technical discussions.

    + Act as a technical authority across structural, stress, and design engineering.

    + Manage liaison and manufacturing engineers.

    + Solve complex engineering problems and resolve technical issues.

     

    Essential Skills & Qualifications

     

    + 10+ years of engineering experience in aerospace.

    + Strong experience in structural analysis, stress analysis, FEA, and airworthiness analysis.

    + Experience across design, sustaining, and manufacturing engineering.

    + Ability to review and analyze non-conformance reports.

    + US Person status as defined by ITAR and maintain eligibility for access to military bases.

    + Proven leadership and confident decision-making skills.

    + Authoritative technical presence with strong communication abilities.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Current or former DER or DAR certification.

     

    Work Environment

     

    This position is onsite with 4 trips per year to Canada and 4 customer visits per year to domestic and foreign military bases.

     

    Work schedule consists of a 4-day work week from Monday to Thursday.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $160000.00/hr.
