Description

Robert Half is partnering with a law firm in the Greater Seattle Area to identify a Family Law Paralegal who is ready to IMMEDIATELY jump in to assist and possibly join their team. This position is contract with potential for extension/conversion into a permanent role.

Pay Rate: $28-25 per hour

Duration: 3+ month, strong potential for extension

Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and other litigation-related materials.

+ Conduct trial preparation activities, including organizing evidence, exhibits, and case files.

+ Manage client intake processes, handle inquiries, and maintain effective communication with clients.

+ Oversee calendaring, scheduling, and coordination of legal appointments and deadlines.

+ Perform e-filing of legal documents and ensure compliance with court requirements.

+ Assist with mediation and limited court appearances as needed.

+ Support billing functions and ensure accurate record-keeping for all legal tasks.

Requirements

+ 2+ YOE as a Paralegal working in family law

+ Local to the Greater Seattle Area for any in-person meetings

The salary range for this position is $28-35/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
