    Job Title: Materials Manager

    Job Description

    The Materials Manager is responsible for directing and supporting operations to ensure the timely delivery of raw and purchased components, superior quality, and competitive pricing. This role oversees personnel involved in purchasing and distributing materials, components, and supplies, either directly or through subordinates.

    + Oversee purchasing and distribution of materials, components, and supplies.

    + Ensure superior quality and competitive pricing in all materials management activities.

    + Supervise and manage personnel involved in materials management.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in inventory management, logistics, and shipping/receiving is a plus.

    + Familiarity with injection mold design is preferred.

    + Proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software.

    + Background in plastic materials and processing is required.

    Work Environment

    The role involves regular communication and coordination, requiring the ability to talk and hear. Frequent physical activities include standing, walking, handling objects, and reaching. Occasionally, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, or smelling may be required. The position demands the ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds occasionally. Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Work environment involves occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts and outdoor weather conditions, generally maintaining a quiet noise level.     Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $67.00/hr.
