Job Title: Senior Clinical Research Accounting Specialist

Job Description

The Senior Clinical Research Accounting Specialist reviews and ensures adherence to financial terms and conditions of clinical research contracts and budgets, research site contracts and budgets, and vendor contracts and budgets. This role involves maintaining accurate and organized accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial reconciliation files.

Responsibilities

+ Review and ensure adherence to financial terms and conditions of clinical research contracts and budgets.

+ Maintain accurate and organized accounts receivable and accounts payable files.

+ Perform financial reconciliation and reporting.

+ Manage billing within the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS).

+ Handle large data sets in Excel for clinical trial financial data.

+ Perform data entry and invoicing tasks.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in accounting and clinical research contracts.

+ Experience with billing and financial reporting and reconciliation.

+ Strong skills in accounts payable and receivable management.

+ Ability to handle large data sets in Excel.

+ Experience with data entry and invoicing processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with systems such as Workday and CTMS.

+ Proficiency in Excel.

+ Experience in clinical research environments.

Work Environment

The position is based at 10 Brookline Place, Brookline, MA, with parking available underneath. The team consists of nine members, including one Senior Specialist, one Level 2 Specialist, and seven Level 1 Specialists. The work environment offers flexible hours, with the team arriving early or leaving early to avoid traffic. The role follows a hybrid work setup, with new hires expected to be in the office two days per week, transitioning to one day per week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brookline, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $43.00/hr.
