Description We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join our legal team in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will provide essential support to attorneys by managing case files, conducting legal research, and preparing documentation for litigation and trial proceedings. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Draft initial pleadings, discovery documents, briefs, memos, and appellate filings to support litigation efforts.

• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including conducting research, organizing evidence, and preparing affidavits or position statements.

• Develop and maintain trial-related materials such as attorney notebooks, expert witness files, document indexes, and exhibit lists.

• Prepare deposition and trial questions, ensuring attorneys are equipped with well-researched inquiries.

• Conduct legal research using both traditional resources and computer-based systems to provide detailed findings.

• Participate in investigative tasks, including document reviews and conducting witness interviews.

• Manage document production, finalize briefs, and coordinate the preparation of demonstrative evidence for hearings or trials.

• Summarize depositions, transcripts, and case records; create detailed case chronologies and memoranda.

• Utilize technology to organize documents and deposition testimony for efficient retrieval, including keyword indexing.

• Attend strategy meetings and contribute insights to support case organization and planning. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in litigation or intellectual property.

• Proficiency in preparing legal documentation, affidavits, and discovery materials.

• Experience with trial exhibits, post-trial filings, and e-discovery processes.

• Strong background in commercial and complex litigation, including intellectual property cases.

• Skilled in summarizing transcripts, depositions, and crafting case chronologies.

• Familiarity with litigation management tools and document organization systems.

• Excellent research and analytical skills to support case development.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise effectively between attorneys and clients.
