Installation Technician

Job Description

As an Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing commercial security and surveillance cameras at a large commercial job site for CPS Energy. You will also install secure entry systems to control building access and test existing equipment to ensure the safety of building occupants in case of a fire.

Responsibilities

+ Install commercial security and surveillance cameras.

+ Install secure entry systems for controlled building access.

+ Test existing equipment to ensure safety in case of fire.

+ Diagnose and repair complications within existing security systems.

Essential Skills

+ Installation and construction experience.

+ Proficiency in programming and RJ45 termination.

+ Experience in low voltage cable installation and cable pulling.

+ Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.

+ Camera programming and removal/installation skills.

+ Operation of boom lift/bucket truck.

+ Experience with fire alarms.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Comfortable working at heights.

+ Proficiency in using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $40.00/hr.
