Finish Carpenter – Entry Level | Contract-to-Hire

Our client is a leading builder with over 25 trim crews delivering high-quality craftsmanship across Minnesota. We’re hiring 2 entry-level finish carpenters to join our growing team. No formal carpentry experience required—just a strong work ethic and interest in construction.

What You’ll Do

+ Begin with a 3-day hands-on training in Montrose.

+ Learn to cut, measure, and install trim, baseboards, casings, door frames, railings, and crown molding.

+ Work in crews of 4–5 on commercial new construction sites.

+ Transport materials and maintain a clean, safe work area.

What You Bring

+ 6+ months of experience in general labor, landscaping, farming, or construction.

+ Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work on hands/knees in physical environments.

+ Comfortable working indoors/outdoors in all weather.

+ A reliable vehicle with space to transport tools (no small cars or car seats).

+ Willingness to grow long-term with us—this is not a short-term gig.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.20/hr.
