Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Machine Operator where you will be responsible for operating a rainware roll former and slitter in our manufacturing facility. You will ensure the efficient setup, operation, and maintenance of machinery while adhering to safety regulations.

Responsibilities

+ Operate rainware roll former and slitter at the shop.

+ Set up and operate all functions of assigned machines and equipment.

+ Adjust machine settings for various material thicknesses, clamp placements, and work order requirements.

+ Inspect parts using tools such as tape measures, scales, calipers, and various computerized measuring devices.

+ Read and complete production orders.

+ Perform secondary operations, such as cleaning, to manufactured parts as required.

+ Arrange parts for production and place raw stock, partially completed work, and completed jobs in appropriate storage or production areas.

+ Perform basic preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.

+ Conduct visual safety checks for machine wear, damage to tooling, and correct positioning of safety guards.

+ Assist other machine operators and may assist other departments with warehouse and production work.

+ Follow all safety regulations, keep work area clean and orderly, and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to stand and reach with hands and arms.

+ Regularly required to walk, sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

+ Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 45 pounds, and occasionally lift, with assistance, up to 100 pounds.

+ Ability to operate equipment safely.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
