    Job Title: Production Associate

    Job Description

    As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for unloading drainage pipes, trimming plastic excess, cutting pipes to specifications, and coiling them into rolls. You will routinely lift weights of 30-40 pounds and team lift for heavier parts, maneuvering up to 100 pounds as needed.

    Responsibilities

    + Unload and trim drainage pipes of various sizes.

    + Cut pipes to specified dimensions and coil them into rolls.

    + Lift and maneuver weights of 30-40 pounds routinely, and team lift for heavier parts up to 100 pounds.

    + Operate hand and power tools, including sawzall, for production tasks.

    + Handle packaging and assist in machine operation tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + General labor and production line experience.

    + Machine operation experience.

    + Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and maneuver up to 100 pounds.

    + Experience with hand and power tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous machine operation experience is advantageous.

    + Experience in plastics manufacturing is beneficial.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment is non-climate controlled, being cold in winter and hot in summer. The facility is fairly organized with newly installed production lines. During high scrap production, space can become cramped. Shift hours include 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm, 2nd shift from 3pm to 11:30pm, and 3rd shift from 11pm to 7:30am. Overtime is scheduled before or after shifts and every other Saturday as needed.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of London, Ohio.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.25 - $21.50/hr.
