    Machine Operator Assistant

    Job Description

    Assist in operating Flexo machines, which fold, stack, and package finished products. Responsibilities include feeding raw stock into the machines and performing tasks that may vary daily. The role requires consistent lifting of 10-30 lbs.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate and assist with Flexo machines.

    + Feed raw stock into machines.

    + Perform inspection and quality control.

    + Set up and load machines.

    + Package and stack finished products.

    + Conduct general labor tasks as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in manufacturing or machine operation.

    + Longevity in previous job roles.

    + Ability to inspect and ensure quality control.

    + Capable of lifting 10-30 lbs consistently.

    + Stand on feet for 8-10 hours per day.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Over one year of manufacturing experience, preferably not involving small hand assembly.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a clean, organized, and smaller plant with 50 employees on the shop floor. The facility is equipped with modern machines, all under 10 years old. The environment is noisy due to the operation of Flexo and corrugated packaging machines. The standard shift is 2nd shift from 2pm to 10pm, with consistent 9-hour shifts. Dress code is casual, suitable for a manufacturing setting.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.25/hr.
