    Currently hiring 1st shift Cabinet Maker's in the Rockdale, IL area. Hiring immediately.

    Description

    + Operate various hand tools and woodworking machines, such as routers, edge banders, jointers, table saws, and wall saws, to fabricate and repair wooden cabinets.

    + Apply laminate to cabinets and other wood surfaces.

    + Participate in job setup and sequencing.

    + Correctly read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

    + Mark outlines or dimensions of parts according to specifications.

    + Match materials for color, grain, or texture.

    + Bore holes for screws or dowels, either manually or using a boring machine.

    + Glue, fit, and clamp parts and subassemblies to form complete units.

    + Sand and scrape surfaces and joints to prepare articles for finishing.

    + Apply protective or decorative materials, such as stain, varnish, or paint.

    + Install hardware such as hinges, catches, and drawer pulls.

    + Comply with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly work area.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    + **Machine operation and CNC router skills.**

    + Fabrication and edge router experience.

    + Proficient in blueprint and drawing interpretation.

    + Experience in setup and operation of machines.

    + Installation skills and hand tool proficiency.

    + Carpentry, woodworking, and power tool experience.

    + Cabinet making and table saw operation.

    + Finish carpentry skills.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in cabinet design using CAD or Solidworks is a plus.

    + Any programming experience with CNC equipment is advantageous.

    + Bilingual in English and Spanish is beneficial.

     

    Work Environment

     

    You will be working in a medium-sized company with a job shop environment, manufacturing parts for tractor trailers and POP displays within stores. You must be comfortable working around job shop machinery. The position operates during the first shift from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
