    Position Summary

    Are you an HVAC installer with 1–3 years of experience who's hungry to grow your skills and career? JM Lapp is looking for a motivated Installer ready to step into leadership. This role is designed for someone who wants to do more than just install—someone eager to learn how to lead jobs, guide a small crew, and eventually step into a Lead Installer / Foreman role across residential and commercial projects.

    What You'll Do

    + Install HVAC Systems: Work on both residential and light commercial installations—ductwork, piping, equipment, and controls.

    + Grow Into Leadership: Learn how to lead jobs, mentor helpers, and eventually run a crew.

    + Problem Solve & Adapt: Troubleshoot on-site challenges and practice decision-making that keeps projects moving.

    + Teamwork: Collaborate with project managers, service teams, and fellow installers for smooth handoffs and top-quality work.

    + Prioritize Safety: Follow OSHA standards and participate in jobsite safety meetings.

    + Take the Next Step: Build the skills and confidence needed to advance into a Lead Installer / Field Foreman role.

    What We're Looking For

    + 1–3 years of HVAC installation experience (residential or commercial).

    + A hunger to step up, lead, and grow into higher responsibility.

    + Willingness to learn blueprint reading, scheduling, and project coordination.

    + Strong communication and teamwork skills.

    + Dependable, organized, and committed to doing quality work.

    + Valid driver's license with a clean record.

    + Certifications (EPA, OSHA, etc.) are a plus, but we'll help you get them.
