Your Role on Our Team
As Manager – EHSS (Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability) you will be responsible for leading and overseeing initiatives that create a safe working environment for our team members and reduce our impact on the environment.
You will directly report to the Director of Operations and matrix report to Corporate EHSS. You will be given the opportunity to take the lead in implementing injury reduction initiatives and helping to launch our safety management system.
You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:
Program Development & Implementation
+ Design, implement, and continuously improve environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
+ Lead implementation of the Milwaukee Tool Safety Management System.
+ Lead the development and execution of strategies and initiatives to reduce injuries and achieve safety targets.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
+ Monitor and interpret applicable EHS laws and regulations.
+ Conduct audits, inspections, and walk-throughs to identify hazards and ensure compliance.
+ Lead risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and root cause investigations for incidents and near-misses.
+ Develop and track corrective and preventive actions to reduce risk and prevent recurrence.
+ Ensure timely reporting of injuries, incidents, and near misses.
Training & Employee Engagement
+ Develop and deliver EHS training programs to employees.
+ Coordinate or assist in the development and implementation of plant-wide safety training.
+ Assist in developing training materials and provide training as needed.
+ Assist in the design and implementation of Emergency Response Team (ERT) training and drills.
+ Promote a strong safety culture through communication, recognition, and active employee involvement.
+ Provide leadership to Safety Committee Teams.
Data Management & Reporting
+ Maintain corrective/preventive actions and tasks in VelocityEHS.
+ Prepare and present monthly or annual KPI reports and performance data to the leadership team.
Stakeholder Collaboration
+ Build positive working relationships with team members, operations leaders, vendors, and customers.
+ Initiate, evaluate, and develop partnerships with key suppliers and maintenance contractors.
+ Sharing best practices and collaboration between service hubs and factory service centers
Travel
+ Travel required: approximately 25-50%; primarily domestic and with occasionalinternational trips
Home Location:
This is an onsite role that could be based in Greenwood, MS or Greenwood, IN.

The** **TOOLS you’ll bring with you:
+ Bachelor’s degree in safety, engineering, or related field preferred
+ 5-10years minimum of relatedexperience.
+ High proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel and Power Point.
+ Ability to work well with people in various levels of the organization (including shop floor personnel and operations leadership.
+ Strong written and verbal skills.

+ Experience in the following:
+ Working with service organization
+ Supporting a safety management system and/or OSHA Voluntary Protection Program
