Job Title: Onboarding Specialist

Job Description

Join our dynamic team as an Onboarding Specialist where you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless onboarding experience for new hires. This temporary-to-permanent position offers the opportunity to become part of one of the largest online grocers in the northeast, complete with fantastic perks once you transition to a permanent role.

Responsibilities

+ Manage the digital filing of onboarding documents in the HR system.

+ Collaborate with recruiters and department managers to communicate hiring updates to candidates.

+ Partner with HR Administration and Safety to verify all onboarding requirements have been met and schedule new hires for orientation.

+ Support candidates through the onboarding process by creating applicant profiles and completing all onboarding steps.

+ Oversee the onboarding of 3rd party temporary employees transitioning to full-time roles.

+ Maintain various recruitment reports using Excel, SharePoint, and other Microsoft tools.

+ Effectively manage multiple tasks in a high-volume setting.

+ Communicate with candidates using recruitment tools such as HRIS (UKG), XOR, LinkedIn, and Indeed.

Essential Skills

+ 2+ years of Administrative Assistant experience.

+ Experience planning for large groups.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ High School Diploma or GED; some college preferred.

+ Minimum one year of administrative experience required.

+ Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.

The position is on-site from 9 AM to 5 PM. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bronx, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr.
