    Job Description

    The Production Supervisor-Litchfield serves in a key leadership role and is responsible for directing and supervising the nightly production activities to ensure that customer and company requirements are met. Working closely with the Production Manager and Litchfield support teams, this role champions organizational culture and employee development while driving operational excellence in safety, quality, scheduling, attendance, and process improvement.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    + Lead 2nd shift Production team in operational areas of quality, scheduling, attendance, production, line layout and process improvement.

    + Coordinate optimum work schedules/workflow, coaching, developing employees, monitoring staff performance, maintaining open communications, and fostering teamwork.

    + Safety & Maintenance: Enforcing safety procedures, identifying hazards, leading safety training, and coordinating equipment maintenance. Promote a safety culture and maintain company compliance/OSHA requirements.

    + Identify, support, and develop talent to maximize individual, team and organizational effectiveness in meeting company goals. This includes selecting and on-boarding talent, communicating effectively to foster a culture of engagement, cascading vision, creating goal alignment; and coaching through feedback, development planning and performance management.

    + Quality Control: Monitoring product quality, implementing quality control measures, and ensuring products meet standards.

    + Troubleshooting & Improvement: Identifying and resolving production issues, improving processes for efficiency, and implementing corrective actions.

    + Reporting & Compliance: Preparing production reports, tracking metrics, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

    + Resource Management: Overseeing inventory levels, ensuring proper use of materials and equipment, and coordinating with other departments like procurement.

    Qualifications

    + Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills

    + Must be able to work night hours up to 10-hour shifts

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

    + Previous work experience with a ERP system

    + High school diploma or equivalent, associate’s degree is preferred but not required.

    Work Environment:

    + The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this position, within typical manufacturing working conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the associate regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to high noise levels when in the manufacturing departments.     Compensation Information:

    $61,200.00 - $91,800.00
