    *This is a full time, benefited position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm. Located at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla. This is an exempt and salaried position eligible for the Management Incentive Compensation Plan (MICP)**at the Supervisor level.*

    *What you'll do:*

     

    **

    * Ensure nursing practice reflects established standards of care and practice and a culture that promotes patient safety.

    * Under the general direction of the Patient Care Manager, shares leadership responsibilities for the nursing unit, including managing daily staffing plans.

    * Ensure the safe transition of patients through the continuum of care to include active participation of nursing staff in planning and coordinating patient care, and direct hand-off to next appropriate level of care.

    *Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:*

    • Two years applicable clinical experience, one of which in a leadership role.

    * Current California RN license

    *Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:*

    • BSN and/or certification in area of specialty if applicable.

    • CNOR certificate
