Are you hands-on, customer-focused, and ready to take charge of inventory solutions onsite at our customer’s facility? Ferguson is seeking a dedicated VMI Associate to manage inventory, support contractors, and grow their career in a dynamic, customer-driven environment. Whether you have experience in the trades or are eager to learn the industrial products industry, this role offers the opportunity to make an impact from the ground up.
Responsibilities
+ Work onsite in the customer’s inventory supply room to manage Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) processes.
+ Conduct daily inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy and availability.
+ Write and process orders to replenish inventory, ensuring timely restocking to meet customer needs.
+ Stock and organize inventory in the supply room for efficient access.
+ Collaborate with onsite contractors to provide quotes, fulfill orders, and address immediate product needs.
+ Deliver personalized customer service through timely responses and accurate order processing.
Qualifications
+ 0-3 years of experience in inventory management, sales, or customer service preferred.
+ Knowledge of industrial products (e.g., Pipe, Valves, Fitting, or related trades) is a plus but not required.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for managing daily inventory tasks.
+ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, onsite environment while meeting deadlines.
+ Proven ability to build relationships and respond quickly to customer and contractor needs.
+ Comfortable working hands-on in a customer’s inventory supply room.
+ General digital literacy, including Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn inventory systems.
+ Eagerness to develop product knowledge and master Ferguson’s inventory processes.
