Honeywell Defense OEM (DOEM) customer business team (CBT) is focused on the large defense OEM customers, such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Boeing Defense, Bell, etc. and manages Honeywell’s defense contracts with these customers.

The Finance Director for DOEM CBT partners with Honeywell business leadership on customer proposals, profitability analysis, cash and working capital matters, driving business results and key finance initiatives. You will provide leadership to a team of commercial finance professionals and/or managers to make strategic finance decisions within the DOEM CBT in Defense & Space business and have an opportunity to design and drive financial landscape, speed, quality and cost efficiency through budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting. You will play a key role in managing financial performance and implementing key finance strategies to achieve committed business performance. You will also identify trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to the senior management.

Key Responsibilities

+ Key business partner to VP DOEM and sales team

+ Provide cross-functional support to Law & Contracts, Customer and Product Support, Project Management Org (PMO), and Controllership

+ Managing the team in developing Annual Operating Plan and Short/Mid-Range Outlook

+ Review and analyze business results, report out in Defense & Space Monthly Operations Reviews

+ Key participant in customer business proposal (greensheet) reviews

+ Drive operating effectiveness and accuracy of program estimate at completion (EAC) reviews

+ Participate in Executive SIOP reviews and speak to ongoing customer pursuits

+ Involvement in Program Management Reviews and PMO metrics

+ Analyze engineering elements of costs and firming data

+ Drive cash results with Past Due Accounts Receivable and Unbilled Receivables

+ Push for standardization across the business and internal finance team

+ Develop business plans and assist with execution/implementation

YOU MUST HAVE

+ 8+ years of progressive finance experience
