    Description

    This position leads the Quality Improvement program for US Family Health Plan - PacMed to drive high performance and continuous quality improvement in rating programs. USFHP - PacMed has robust quality improvement programs and governance for Department of Health Agency (DHA). The Manager is responsible for organizing governance committees and the development/ maintenance of QI program descriptions, Clinical CDRL's and related policies/procedures, including routine evaluations of QI programs and services and DHA on-site visit audit.

     

    This position is responsible for hiring and supervision of staff engaged in the QI program, including: program management for DHA Clinical performance, HEDIS performance, CAHPS performance and quality projects. As the organization grows, the position will contribute to quality improvement services for clients purchasing such services.

    Required qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or other relevant healthcare program.

    + 5 years of Demonstrated experience in quality improvement program planning, development and evaluation.

    + 5 years of Demonstrated experience in discernment of rules/regulations and advocacy related to quality programs.

    + 5 years of Experience in quality management principles, tools and techniques, such as: Six Sigma, root cause analysis, PDSA, LEAN.

    + 4 years of Demonstrated leadership experience.

    + 3 years of Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with physicians and health care organizations.

    + Demonstrated successful project management and governance.

    Preferred qualifications:

    + Master's degree in Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or other relevant healthcare program or 4 years equivalent healthcare quality experience.

    + Coursework/Training: Formal education or training in quality improvement, change management, and/or leadership.

    + Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) upon hire.
