BAE Systems is seeking a high performing Electrical/Software/Computer Engineer with embedded software experience to join our team. Our embedded processor design team needs to grow. We are looking for someone to work with our processor hardware designers to develop embedded test software for our new products. Key Roles, Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

+ Ownership of electrical hardware test software

+ Contributes to the hardware designs process.

+ Create effective test software for first unit bring up of new hardware

+ Supports design verification testing and system integration.

+ Support the transition to production.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

+ Demonstrated proactive, closure-oriented leadership with the ability to motivate engineering teams and communicated effectively with program management.

+ Command of scripting languages such as Pearl or Python, and C programming language preferred

+ Ability to read and understand device datasheets and schematics.

+ Experience creating board-level design verification tests (Diagnostics) of processor-based and FPGA-based designs.

+ Experience debugging digital/mixed signal hardware.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

+ 5 years working with complex electronics/systems

+ Experience with digital hardware development at module/board level

+ Experience developing scripts in an embedded software environment (Linux)

+ Experience with VxWorks, Greenhills RTOS

+ Highly developed troubleshooting skills

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
